Even as a small
child I knew there was a greater truth.
I recall often
looking up at the stars and wanting to go home
Home
for me was the vastness of space, the mystery of what I could not see but
somehow felt so connected to.
I was blessed with
growing up in Africa with its exquisite beauty, its nature and
extraordinary mix of peoples. Communing with animals and the natural
environment was an every day occurrence and I could always sense the
presence of an unspoken word – energy! Climbing trees and cycling my
bicycle on dirt roads in the pouring rain were the most natural states of
being and it was often when I was playing with children of different
cultural groups that I knew there was a connection between all of humanity
other than that which I was being taught at school and at home.
In 1982 our family
moved to South Africa from what was then known as Rhodesia and it was in
the mid 1990’s that my hunger to learn and explore the vastness of
knowledge was initiated. I went on to study and explore the realms of
consciousness, energy, philosophy and religions. I was blessed with the
opportunity to travel to many different parts of the world, coming into
contact with shamans and teachers of various paradigms and cultures which
opened my mind and has been enormously influential in my thinking.
Through all of my
travels I, like many others have involved myself with many different
projects - from management in the field of health & fitness at both
corporate and public levels, radio and politics to the healing arts and
now to facilitation in personal development, again at both corporate and
public level.
It was whilst
attending a conference in France in 2001 that I was given the Voyager
books to read by a friend. The first page was all it took and I have been
engaged “full time” with the FREEDOM TEACHINGS ever since. A way of life

I had found
family- both planetary and beyond – as well as the bigger picture of what
had always been missing in every spiritual undertaking I had been involved
with up to that point.
It is with a
profound sense of joy and appreciation that I am here today with a team of
vastly talented and gifted individuals who make up the Kathara Team.
I taught my first
two Kathara workshops as a representative of the Kathara Alliance at the
end of 2005 and found the experiences profoundly moving. To share a
knowledge so sacred and carrying such a resonance of truth has for me been
a truly awesome experience. |
