Introducing: Tim
Gilligan
Manchester, UK
From childhood I recall being curious about anything that
was beyond what I saw around me. I was aware of the concept of aliens at
an early age, though I don’t recall how. I loved stories about other
worlds, such as Narnia or Middle Earth, and once I discovered science
fiction as a teenager, I was hooked. Throughout that phase I yearned to
be from somewhere else, other than here. Towards the end of my teens my
reading moved to metaphysics, but nothing ever felt right to pursue in
earnest, though some aspects certainly influenced my view of the world.
My
exploration took a back seat for a few years when I started a family.
Then in the early ‘90s I sought alternative treatment for a
minor but persistent medical condition. This lead down a path through
studying Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), to some channeled material,
and finally to contact with someone, who in 2000 told me about the
Voyagers books and an upcoming Kathara Healing workshop in Manchester, UK,
where I live. Of course I read the books and attended the workshop. The
person who had told me about them was then known as Michael Deane.
Reading the Voyagers books had a profound effect. My
outlook on everything changed. Though there was so much to take in,
particularly in Voyagers II, it just felt so right. When I attended the
Kathara Healing workshop, I did so despite the fact that I did not think
that I needed healing – physically that is. Of course I discovered that
there was much more to me than the physical.
Since then my life has gained a purpose that it didn’t have
before – beyond just existing in the 3D world, with the suspicion that
there was more going on than I was consciously aware of. I feel blessed
and honored to be on this planet at this time with the awareness and the
ability to make a difference to the outcome for myself and others. It is
also a joy to be amongst people with whom there is the instant connection
of beloved family. Attending workshops with them, and in particular,
engaging in grid work around the word with them is a great privilege.
As a child I yearned for adventure. I now know I am right
in the middle of an adventure far more profound than I could have
imagined. |
